BRAND RANKINGS OF UNIVERSITIES IN KANSAI

The brand rankings of universities in Kansai was released by Nikkei BP Consulting this November 2019. Nikkei BP Consulting is a company which supports clients’ marketing and public relations activities. It annually researches the brand rankings of universities in Japan.

The ranking system evaluates the brand power of universities that is why the index of ranking system stands on how people perceive the university. The result shows people's ideas about the university rather than the quality of its education.

It researched the 49 items of brand image in universities by way of asking business people and educators in August. In the result, Kyoto university has been in the top of the brand ranking in Kansai for 11 consecutive years.

In my opinion, Kyoto university is the best university in Japan, which has produced many Nobel Prize winner. I think it is the valid result.
