I had a first hand experience of Indigo dyeing in Ai-no-yakata where travelers can try Indigo dyeing. It is one of popular activities in Tokushima for travelers. Products made from Indigo dyeing using Indigo plants have antibacterial effectiveness for users and mild mosquito repellent properties.
