Kansai International Airport is located in Osaka and lies in an island. It was damaged by Typhoon Jebi / Maymay in September 4 and had flooding and a blackout. The worst was that the tanker dashed against the bridge between the island and the mainland. Travelers could not go out of the island and got isolated. But a few days later, some airlines resumed their operations. The bridge can be used by a private car after October 6, 2018.
