Omamori is a good luck charm to bring good fortune and expel evil. We can buy omamori in temples and shrines throughout Japan all year round. However, Japanese tradition, we usually buy it in a shrine when we visit there on New Year's Day. Each one has different purpose which are good health, traffic safety and success in an examination for studeints.
