The name of Panasonic Stadium Suita was named by Panasonic Corporation because it was the naming right's partner. The Official name of the stadium is Suita City Football Stadium. Panasonic Corporation had the naming right for 5 years for 10.8 billion yen. The stadium is used by Gamba Osaka which is the professional soccer team belonging to J1 league.
Watching sports is the common enjoyable activity for spare time in Japan. Gamba fans and soccer fans enjoy cheering the game there. Since Expo'70 Commemorative Park is also located near the stadium, you can enjoy with your kids there. In addition, you can buy and eat something in Expocity which is a big shopping mall.
You can go to the Panasonic Stadium Suita about 1 hour from JR Osaka station. I think the Panasonic Stadium Suita, Expo'70 Commemorative Park and Expocity are very good places for sightseeing when you stay in Osaka.
