· SIGHTSEEING

Japan beat Russia with a score of 30-10 in Rugby World Cup on September 20th. It was the first game of the World Cup and a lot of Japanese people were interested in the result. At first, the Japanese fans in the Tokyo Stadium were disappointed because Russia got the first try after the Japanese fullback missed a routine catch under no pressure. After that, some Japanese players also missed catches because they were nervous about the pressure that the World Cup is being held in Japan and a lot of Japanese people were hoping Japan will win the very first game. Furthermore, stadium lighting makes it difficult for the players to get a sight of the ball causing them to miss it.

Russia could not get tries after Japan missed. Japan started retaining their calmness little by little after Matsushima got a try in the right corner.

As a result, Japan won the game and got 4 tries.
