Saraudon is a Japanese food from Nagasaki prefecture in Kyusyu and it is also called Agesoba. Saraudon is a kind of noodles such as ramen, udon, soba and so on. The difference between saraudon and other noodles is that the noodles are deep-fried. Since it does not include a liquid soup like ramen, it is served on the plate shown in the picture. Sauteed vegetables and thicken soup are on the noodles. The ingredients are shrimps, octopuses, pork, bean sprouts, boiled fish paste, cabbage and wood ear mushroom. If you want to change the taste, you are free to add mustard, vinegar and soy sauce. Chuouken is a very famous saraudon restaurant in Osaka and it serves other noodles which come from Nagasaki. Saraudon is not a special food to eat in an event but an ordinary food in our lives.
