Sobameshi was originated in Nagata ward in Kobe city. You can easily cook it. First, you stir-fry noodles with oil and sauce. Second, You mix cold rice with stir-fry noodles. You finally cut them using a spatula. There are various toppings to choose like kimchi, beef, pork, raw egg, sea foods, and etc. I ordered sobameshi with beef tendons simmered in soy sauce and a raw egg as shown in the picture. It is hard to find the restaurants which serve sobameshi in Tokyo, so it is better for you to try it in Kansai.
