Takatsuki Jazz Street will come soon. It started in 1999 in Takatsuki and this will be the 21st musical event. It was designed to make Takatsuki a city where music lovers gather and enjoy in May. It is bigger and bigger every year. Since it is run by donation and volunteers only, all admission fees are free. This year, it will open in May 3rd and 4th from 10:00 am to midnight at 72 places near JR/Hankyu Takatsuki Station. They will include Shinto Shrine, bar, restaurant, shopping mall, university, shopping street, elementary school, junior high school, church, live house, theater, riverside, temple and so on. You will certainly be able to enjoy music and sightseeing in Takatsuki. If you stay on May 3rd and 4th in Osaka or Kyoto, I highly recommend you to go to Takatsuki Jazz Street.
