Tanin-don is a kind of bowl dish in Japan and one of the famous donburi dishes. We have three traditional famous donburi which are based on eggs. They are Tamago-don, Oyako-don and Tanin-don. They are quite similar, Tanin-don is the one shown in the picture. Tamago-don does not include any meats. Oyako-don include eggs and chicken. Tanin-don includes eggs and meat like beef except chicken. Soup stock and soy sauce are based on the taste of these ones. Since donburi is a kind of washoku, please try eating them during your travel in Japan.
