Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare informs the lowest hourly wage in each prefecture. In 2018 fiscal year, the lowest hourly wage in Tokyo was 985 yen and in Kagoshima was 761 yen. The lowest hourly wage in Osaka was 936 yen. The government party and the opposition parties pledge to rise the lowest hourly wage to more than 1000 yen. Since the lowest hourly wages in all prefectures are under 1000 yen in 2018 fiscal year, the pledge would make employee happy. On the other hand small and medium-sized businesses will lose their profits by the rise of the lowest hourly wage. The election of the Upper House was finished in July 21. It is possible that the lowest hourly wage will rise in the future.
The hourly wage for a high school student is 940 yen and for an adult is 960 yen as shown in the picture. The hourly wages in Osaka are legitimate because these are over 936 yen.
