Traditional Japanese cuisine, Washoku in Japanese, was added to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2013. We call it Washoku. Lets get to know these Japanese foods in the picture in clockwise order. First, takikomi-gohan is a Japanese rice dish cooked with meat, vegetable, soy sauce etc. It has various tastes and the tastes depend on every household. Second is simple salad. Third is boiled beef and vermicelli with sweetened soy sauce. Fourth is chilled tofu topped with dried bonito flakes, sliced green onion, and soy sauce.
